Johns Hopkins' Government, Community and Public Affairs office recently welcomed five Baltimore high school students to its offices as part of the city's YouthWorks Summer Jobs Program.
The students - Samone Ijoma, Kenterra Fisher, Chanel Pierce, Alex Peters and Zach Worsley - will be with us through July 31. The YouthWorks summer program is designed to expose students to a variety of public and private sector work settings and give them hands-on experience. At the same time, the students who range in age from 14 to 21, are able to earn their own money.
This blog chronicles the work days of the GCPA’s five student workers. Take a look at what they have been doing.
