Welcome to YouthWorks at Johns Hopkins

Johns Hopkins hired approximately 250 Baltimore teenagers and young adults as part of the city’s YouthWorks summer jobs program. Five of those teens are working in the Government, Community and Public Affairs office on Bond Street in Fell’s Point, performing a variety of tasks from assisting with video and photo shoots to filing and stuffing envelopes. In true fashion to GCPA’s mission of communicating the messages of Johns Hopkins, our five students have created this blog to document their work and experiences with the institution’s various divisions and people they’ve met along the way. My name is Zachary Worsley and I am a 15-year-old sophomore at Mount Saint Joseph High School. I live on the East side of Baltimore. My interests include playing sports, reading, surfing the web, cooking, playing the drums and singing. After graduation, I would like to attend Morehouse College in Atlanta and major in political science. After undergraduate school, I’d like to go to law school at Howard University in Washington D.C. My goal is to become a corporate attorney and eventually start my own firm.
